NOTICE OF MEETING
The next Council Meeting will be held on Thursday 14th May 2026 in Kirkby on Bain Primary school hall starting at 7.30 pm. There will be an open forum for any members of the public who wish to bring an item to the Councils attention. Members of the public may stay for the meeting but are reminded they may not speak during council business.

The time between 7pm and 7:30pm will be the flood sensor awareness event held by members of project groundwater

1. Election of Chairman - signing of declaration of acceptance of office.
2. Election of Vice Chairman - signing of declaration of acceptance of office.
3. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
4. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
5. Notes of the council meeting held on Thursday 5th March to be approved as minutes and signed by the Chairman.
6. The co-option of any potential candidate present – 2 Registers of interest
7. Church Hall – progress
8. Playground equipment – Update
9. To receive reports from outside bodies
a) County Councillor
b) District Councillor
10. To discuss any Planning applications
11. Audit of accounts – presentation of accounts – Internal auditor has done checks all cleared for approval of this Council
a. To approve the annual governance statement in the annual return
b. To confirm and approve the Accounting statements contained in the Annual Return
c. To confirm the dates for the excise of public rights

a) Bank Balance and signing of Statements

iv. Lloyds Bank fees - £4.25

14. The next normal council meeting is scheduled for: 2nd July 2026 at 7pm in Kirkby On Bain school hall. The annual parish meeting will be held on the 24th May as part of the village picnic. Are there any items for inclusion on the next agenda…
