NOTICE OF ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

The Annual Council Meeting will be held on Thursday 12th May 2022 in Kirkby on Bain Primary School Hall starting at 7.00pm.  There will be a public forum for any members of the public who wish to bring an item to the Councils attention.

Public Forum – 15 Minutes
Chairman’s outgoing remarks 

1. Election of Chairman - signing of declaration of acceptance of office.
2. Election of Vice Chairman - signing of declaration of acceptance of office.
3. Apologies for absence and reasons given 
4. Declarations of interest in accordance with the 2000 Local Government Act
5. Approval of the minutes of the meeting held on 3rd March 2022 (attached)
6. Review of all council policies
7. Finance:
a) Audit of accounts – presentation of accounts – Internal auditor has done checks all cleared for approval of this Council
i. To confirm the council as exempt from a limited assurance review 
ii. To confirm and approve the Accounting statements contained in the Annual Return 
iii. To approve the annual governance statement in the annual return 
b) Bank Balance and signing of Statements
c) Payments required:- 
i. Councils Insurance - £262.65
ii. Planning application fee for flag pole - £117.00 
iii. ELDC Precept overpayment - £18,278.00
iv. S. Kulwicki – Wages for March & April plus miles travelled - £297.72
v. HMRC – PAYE - £56.60
vi. Internal audit - £30.00 
8. Flagpole and village sign – to confirm erection 
9. CSW – Reactive sign and Speed gun update 
10. Highways matters – Any problems to report (cllr Midgley) 
11. Jubilee celebration preparations 
12. To discuss any Planning applications 
13. The next meeting is scheduled for 14th July 2022 at 7:00pm
